We have created a new page on our site in order to inform our members of possible volunteer opportunities in our area. Currently, there are opportunities for giving out food to less fortunate people in our communities for thanksgiving. All hours completed from these activities will count towards both students' required twenty hours of beta, as well as their ten hours per semester for our school.

During the last week of October, three of our beta club members attended the National Beta Leadership Summit in LaGrange, Georgia. We have posted three photos of the attendees. Our attendees received the "Outstanding Leadership" award for our school, and one of our members received a position as a Leadership Representative for that summit. This was our school's first leadership summit, and it was a valuable experience for our club as a whole.
For the month of November, we will be working on a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help our community. All donations will benefit the Children's Restoration Network (CRN). The food will go to families in need over Thanksgiving break. CRN wants items such as the following:
More information and a full list of wanted items can be found on our "Upcoming Events & Themes" section of our site. For the month of October, we have decided to hold a warm coat drive for children in need this holiday season. All of the donated jackets, coats, and accessories will be donated to North Fulton Community Charities. NFCC is also looking for volunteers to help pass out these donated items, and you can sign up to help at their website, which is linked in the "Upcoming Events" section of our site. Additional information can also be found in the "Upcoming Events" tab of our website.
We have added more photos, this time of our service projects, into our gallery! We have updated the gallery to have photos of two of our recycling posters along with two photos of our "Blessings in a Backpack" donation boxes. These boxes can be found around our school, so it is easier for students to drop off donations. As stated on the flier for "Blessings in a Backpack," which can be located in our "Upcoming Events" page, we are looking for donations of the following items:
For the month of September, we will be working on donations for the nonprofit "Blessings in a Backpack," which works to supply food to children in our communities who cannot afford it otherwise. We will also be working with "Rivers Alive," which is an organization working to clean up rivers in our community. All students will be able to participate in this event, which is being held on September 27th.
We have now added the "Calendar" page, which contains a calendar for the FSA Junior Beta Club and it's events, along with a weekly motivational quote. We have also added a "Contact Us" page if anyone would like to reach out to us.
Welcome to the FSA Junior Beta Club website! In this blog, we will post updates relating to our Junior Beta Club. These updates will consist of things spanning to collection drives in our school to meeting time and/or date changes.
